Pay on W2: $33 Per Hour

Shift: 9:30AM to 6:30PM

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Preparing and dispensing medication

•        Pharmacy technicians prepare, measure, mix, and calculate medication amounts, and then dispense them to patients or health professionals.

•        They also prepare sterile medications, create medication labels, and review medication orders.

Maintaining inventory

•        Pharmacy technicians maintain drug and supply inventory, order supplies, and check goods received against purchase orders.

•        They also review pharmacy stock for expired drugs.

Assisting with administrative tasks

•        Pharmacy technicians may help pharmacists with administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, tracking inventory, and filing paperwork.

Communicating with patients

•        Pharmacy technicians liaise with patients to ensure the effective and safe use of medicines.

Working in a team

•        Pharmacy technicians are key members of the pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams.

 

Located in the Beautiful Marin County, California. Marin Health Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technicians with following experiences.

• Must have Pyxis and Narc handling experience, Patient medication reconciliation experience would be a huge plus!
• Current and unencumbered California Pharmacy Tech license.
• Interested candidates must be willing to work AM/PM rotating shifts with every other weekend. 
• AM shifts start time (0700, 0730, 0930). PM shifts start time (1400, 1500, 1700).
