Registered Nurse – ER and ICU (RN) Location: Arcata, CA 95518

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: $60-69/hr

Shift: Day, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed

Qualifications: Active California RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required

Are you an experienced RN skilled in both Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing? Join our healthcare team in Arcata, CA, for a fulfilling short-term contract role. You will occasionally float to the House Supervisor position to cover breaks and vacation days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in both ER and ICU settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care.
• Float to House Supervisor role as needed, ensuring continuity of care and managing nursing staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans.

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license; required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications upon hire and maintain current; required.
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in ER and ICU settings; required.
• Experience in a House Supervisor role; preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

• Day shift, 12-hour shifts.
• 36 hours per week guaranteed.
• 13-week contract.
