Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Type: 6-month Contract

Job Description:

United Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic team in Represa, CA, 95671. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health and well-being of employees within various occupational settings. If you are a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a passion for occupational health and safety, we invite you to apply.

Role and responsibilities:

a. Assist patient/youth with activities of daily living and provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse;

b. Perform and document rounds of patient/youth receiving medical and/or psychiatric care and report changes in patient/youth condition to the RN;

c. Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing;

d. Assist other non-custody staff to provide patient/youth care;

e. Prepare documentation for patient/youth transfers to other Institutions/Facilities or trips to speciality appointments;

f. Complete all required documentation of patient/youth care, provide written or oral reports, and record entries in logbooks;

g. Clean, maintain, and check equipment; and

h. Check inventory, order and check supplies.

Licensing Requirements:

• To obtain your CNA license, you'll need to pass a certification test after completing a state-approved training program. Many states use the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program exam, and others administer their own exams. Tests may include written, oral and clinical sections.

Education:

• Nursing degree from a CNA program.

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
