Job Opportunity: MRI Tech in Silverdale, WA 98383

• Position: Tech: MRI Tech
• Location: Silverdale, WA 98383
• Pay Rate: $62-$63 per hour
• Gross Weekly: $2,520/week
• Work Week: 40 hours per week 
• Duration: 13 weeks (high Possibility of contract extension)
• Shift Notes:- Monday-Friday 7:00-15:30

NOTE: If TRAVELER has an ARRT MR only, they do not need a WA state license

Unit Notes:

• Charting System: Epic and Sectra PACS
• Department: Radiology - MRI
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? Two at the Main Hospital - and Three outpatient clinics
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? If needed float to outpatient clinics.
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Brain, neck, Spine, Chest, Abd, Pelvis, Breast, Cardiac, Prostate, MSK, Imaging patients with Implanted devices and researching them prior to Imaging.
• Average # of scans/studies per day 28
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC and Sectra PACS Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) 'Main Hospital GE 1.5T & 3T
• Outpatient Clinics: Philips, Hitachi'
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Supervisor: Kenneth Crossland
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Radiology Aides assist MRI Technologists
• Radiologist in-house? Yes
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes, IV skills required.
• Shifts & Scheduling Varying Weekend Requirement Varying Holiday Requirement Participate in the holiday rotation
• Call or Standby requirement? Participate in the standby rotation
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Personal Scrubs. Hospital Scrubs provided only to OR staff
• Department Specific Orientation: Yes

Requirements: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• BLS for Healthcare worker, N95 fit tested 
• ARRT in MRI
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist License if candidate is ARRT certified in X Ray or Computed Tomography
• experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast and Breast Biopsy MRI.(Not required but encouraged having experience)
• Covid Card.
• NO BSN Required.
• Updated Resume
