Job Description
Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse
Location: Thousand Oak, San Jose:- CA
Pay scale: $2700- $2800/week
Shift: Days/ Nights
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to pregnant women during labor, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor.
- Assist with the delivery process, including coaching and providing emotional support to mothers.
- Administer medications and pain relief measures as prescribed.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience.
- Educate and support new mothers in postpartum care and newborn care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and assisting with childbirth.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.

•Fetal monitoring, 2 years of experience
•C-Section Circulator and Post CS recovery
•Vaginal Exams
•Care of the laboring patient, including CS and Vaginal delivery and recovery
•Care of the high-risk antepartum patient
o Gestational Hypertension
o Gestational Diabetes
•Obstetrical Emergencies, including Ob Hemorrhage
•Care of the newborn, within the first hour of life
o Breastfeeding, initial latch
•Strong customer service
