Job Posting: RN Labor and Delivery Position

Location: San Jose, CA

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Hourly Pay Rate: $83/hr

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Type: Contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit in San Jose, CA. This is a 13-week contract position offering a competitive hourly pay rate. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in labor and delivery and must hold a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Monitor fetal and maternal health, administer medications, and assist with labor procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care
• Educate patients and families on postnatal care and recovery
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification by AHA
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
