Job Description
United Healthcare is now hiring for a L&D RN for our location in beautiful Sacramento CA. As an RN you will provide 3-12/hour night shifts per week for 13-weeks. Services you will provide **High risk unit, couplet care. Must be willing to do it all from start to finish. Must be able to circulate c-sections and feel comfortable in PP.
Unit FBC - OB / L&D / PP (LDRP)
# L&D Beds 10
# OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections? 2
# Triage beds 3 OB-ED and 3 antepartum testing used for OB ED overflow
# Postpartum beds 12
# Births per day? Month? Year? 100-150 births a month
Ratios 1:3-4 couplets, LD anywhere from 1:1 to 1:2 , 1:1-3 antepartums
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, & AWHONN Advanced EFM STABLE preferred.' Common diagnoses/Types of patients preterm labor/bleeding/inductions/cesarean sections/hypertension Experience or 'Must have' skills Must be able to float to MB and be able to circulate c-sections. All RNs must be able to circulate C/S.
