Job Description: CT Tech
Location: Salina, KS 67401
Salary Range: $24.77 – $37.16 per hour (based on education and experience)
Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 (will be discussed further during the interview)
Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM with rotating weekend/holiday call
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech to join our medical imaging team in Salina, KS. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This position involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures to produce diagnostic images, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT Scans: Conduct CT scans to create cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs, bones, tissues, and blood vessels for diagnostic purposes.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during the scan.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely. Troubleshoot and report any technical issues.
- Image Quality: Ensure high-quality images are produced by adjusting equipment settings and positioning patients correctly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and patient information, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide comprehensive diagnostic information.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection standards to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Continuing Education: Stay current with developments in CT technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a CT Tech is preferred, but new graduates with strong technical skills will be considered.
- Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Kansas.
