Job Description

• Position: LPN- Rehab
• Location:  San Antonio, TX 78258
• Pay Rate: $42-$43/hr
• Shift: Nights(8PM-7AM)
• Work Week: 36 hours per week
• Gross weekly: $1,573/week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start:  ASAP

Charting System: Documentation system: Meditech

Floating policy: As needed, Weekends Expectations

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

• Floating Guidelines
• Methodist Acknowledgement Form
• Attendance policy
• Collaborative team approach with therapy, MD, Nursing, CM, other interdisciplinary team members.

Procedures performed on unit: 

• Primary care nursing
• Rehabilitation evaluation (Functional Independence Measure scores at admission, daily and at discharge)
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Must have BLS
• LPN TX License or Compact
• At least 2+ years of Experience
• Inpatient Rehab Experience
• Neuro experience
• SSN, DL & Covid Card mandatory for Submittal

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color – Navy-scub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
• Hair – hair should be neat and clean with no extrem styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not fessible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
