Unit Information:  Emergency Department Location: Valley Regional Medical Center Address: 100 A East Alton Gloor  Brownsville, TX 78526 Floor: 1st Building: Main   General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 22 Number of Staff – 47 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, 8 RN (including midshifts), 2 ER Techs, 1 unit secretary Night Shift – 1 charge, 8 RN (including midshifts), 2 ER Techs, 1 unit secretary Patient Ratios – 4:1 Type of equipment – ER patient care equipment EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:  Travel RNs   Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.  ENPC, TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS   Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.  >5 years ER experience   List typical procedures performed on unit(s):       Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
