Job Description: Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Placentia, CA 92870

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days

Hourly Pay (W2): $50 to $55

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Placentia, CA, for a 13-week assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to pediatric patients, ensuring individualized and effective care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients to determine the need for physical therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve physical function and mobility.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients' families on exercises and activities to support continued progress at home.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric physical therapy.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current PT license in the state of California.
• Prior experience in pediatric physical therapy is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and pediatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
