Job Description: Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Position
Location: Owosso, MI
Job Type: Permanent
Shifts: Days
Salary: $31.88/hour (dependent upon experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient team in Owosso, MI. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and techniques for managing their conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment progress and outcomes.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
