Location: Tustin, CA
Position: Operating Room Technician
Shift: Day Shift, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
Contract Duration: 43 days
Pay Rate: $38/hr
Requirements:
- Current BLS certification
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Operating Room Technician to join our surgical team for a 43-day contract. As an Operating Room Technician, you will assist in surgical operations, preparing operating rooms, arranging equipment, and ensuring a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and ready.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Monitor and ensure the functionality of surgical equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an Operating Room Technician.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous experience in an operating room setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Contract Details:
- 43-day contract with potential for extension or permanent placement.
- Competitive pay rate of $38/hr.
- Day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
