Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled ICU RN with float experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional nursing care, manage critical patient cases, and provide support across multiple units as needed. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Duties

• Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring and managing vital signs and treatment plans.
• Float to various units as needed, offering support where high-acuity care is required.
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform advanced interventions in line with ICU protocols.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Meditech.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an RN in an ICU or critical care setting.
• Experience in floating to different units in a hospital setting.
• MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO Med Surg

Requirements

• Compact or Arizona RN license.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required.
• This position is ideal for a flexible and detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a high-stakes, patient-centered environment.
