Position: LPN/LVN 

Location: Columbia, MO 65201 

Pay Rate:- $43/hour

Shift: Days(M-F 8am-5pm)

Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Unit Profiles:

Family Practice clinic with 8 providers. Mon-Friday 8am-5pm. No weekends or holidays

Busy family practice clinic. Sees all ages, great teamwork in clinic, excellent and experienced providers. 

Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures:  Routine immunizations, setting up equipment for Well Woman exams, point of care testing (Strep, flu, pregnancy testing, A1Cs).  Visual eye acuity charts. 

Common Equipment:  EKG's, A1C machine, Point of care testing machines, 

Clinical Skill Comments: Collecting and recording patient vital signs, home medication intake, history intake, point of care testing, assiting provider with needed procedures.  Triage skills for pt phone calls, input orders for labs/procedures, chart prep for clinic day per provider preference, relaying results and answering questions as they arise, completing and obtaining prior authorizations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor patients throughout their treatment.
• Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs.
• Ensure that patients take their medication.
• Assist doctors and registered nurses.
• Liaise with patients' families.

Requirements:

• Active LPN license.
• BLS
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• COVID Vaccination/ Valid CPR/ Health Documents/ License/ Physical
• Updated resume
