LVN/LPN - Long Term Care Position in Petoskey, MI

• Hourly Pay Rate: $39/hr
• Shift: Afternoons
• Contract Duration: 3 Months
• Certifications Required: BLS by AHA (Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association)
• Minimum Experience: 1 year

Job Description: An LVN/LPN in a long-term care setting provides basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. This includes monitoring patients' health, administering medications, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience working as an LVN/LPN.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work afternoon shifts.
• Strong clinical and patient care skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient hygiene and mobility.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
