Department: Radiology – MRI we will accept ARMRIT, but still need an Oregon State license. General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, Oregon State (OBMI) license in MRI, ARRT certification in MRI Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements - BLS, Oregon State (OBMI) license in MRI, ARRT certification in MRI How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? NO Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties MSK, MRA, Abdomen, head, carotids Experience or 'Must have' skills at least 3 years experience (preferably on GE scanners) Average # of scans/studies per day 12 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use PACS- McKesson and RIS- Meditech Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) GE 1.5T Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Dan Scheive MRI Lead Tech Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Yes Radiologist in-house? Yes Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes Shifts & Scheduling Tues-Fri 9a-730p Weekend Requirement No Holiday Requirement Yes- on call Call or Standby requirement? Holiday only (7a-3p) Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?
