Job Description
Exciting Career Opportunity: Therapist - Residential Treatment (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Parma, OH
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly Salary: $28.85 - $33.65
Annual Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (depending on licensure)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction and mental illness? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Residential Treatment center in Parma, OH. If you are bilingual in Spanish and English, fluent in both clinically, and have a strong understanding of addiction and mental health, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, culturally responsive therapy to individuals from diverse economic, cultural, and administrative backgrounds, including those involved in the criminal justice system.
- Form effective therapeutic relationships and work productively with clients to support their recovery journey.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize your knowledge of addiction and mental illness to provide specialized care in a residential treatment setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR system, Avatar.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field with 3-5 years of related experience.
- Licensure: Must hold a current LISW, LPCC, LICDC, or IMFT.
- Certifications: Must maintain current certification in First Aid and CPR as required by program guidelines.
- Skills: Strong understanding of addiction and mental illness, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with EMR systems, particularly Avatar.
- Other Requirements: Final applicants will be required to undergo fingerprinting (can start pending fingerprint results).
