Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our ICU. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to handle complex patient needs, and a commitment to patient education and support.

Duties

• Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and manage life-threatening conditions as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, care plans, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU or similar acute care setting.
• Experience with critical care and monitoring technology preferred.

Requirements

• Active CA State RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
