Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Outpatient Facility, San Carlos, CA 94070

Shift: Days

Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: $55 to $60 hourly on W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team in San Carlos, CA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients, assisting them in improving their mobility, strength, and overall physical function.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide physical therapy treatments to patients, using a variety of techniques and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies for improving function.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, progress, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid state PTA license in California.
• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
