Job Description
Job Title: Travel LMSW - Social Work (775)Location: Research Psychiatric Center, 2323 E. 63rd St KC, MO 64130
Unit: Social Work
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: 11/14/2024
Payrate : $50 to $58 per hour
Overview:
We're seeking a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our dynamic team at Research Psychiatric Center. This is a travel position, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health while exploring new environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Management: Manage a patient load with a ratio of 1:10, providing high-quality mental health support.
- Group Facilitation: Lead and facilitate therapeutic group sessions aimed at patient recovery and well-being.
- Discharge Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating patient discharges to ensure a smooth transition back into the community.
- Documentation: Efficiently document patient interactions and progress using our system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with unit secretaries and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- License: Must have a valid LMSW license in Missouri.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health and group facilitation.
- Skills: Advanced computer skills are essential for documentation and communication tasks.
- Certifications: LMSW certification is required.
- Schedule: Commitment to Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Number of Beds: 100
- On Call Requirements: None
- Floating Policy: Not applicable; you will remain within the Social Work unit.
- Dress Code: Casual attire, but no jeans.
