Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Monroe, WA 98272

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days

Hourly Pay: $35 to $40 on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team in Monroe, WA. This is a 13-week assignment with day shifts, offering an hourly pay rate of $35 to $40 on a W2 basis. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain their physical function and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to help patients achieve their physical therapy goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatment, making adjustments as needed under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue therapy at home.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory and facility standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
