o    Day Shift –1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC

o    Night Shift – 1CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs

•Patient Ratios – 1:4 or 1:5

•Type of equipment – standard unit equipment

•EMR -Cerner

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

•License (RN/CNA)

•BLS

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

•Chemo Certification

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

• Occasional pelvic exams

• Echo, thoracentesis

Best personality Fit:

•Team players, willing to learn

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

•None at this time

Floating Area(s):

•Other med-surg units- team rarely floats

Dress Code:

•RNs- navy, white or combo of both colors

•CNAs- Galaxy Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

•Basic hospital policies and guidelines

Weekends and On call(if any)

•Rare call

•Staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule
