Job Description:

United Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE (LVN) to join our dynamic team in San Quentin, 94964 CA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health and well-being of employees within various occupational settings. Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical information accurately.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans and ensure patients' needs are met
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Handle medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Requirements:

• Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of CA.
• BLS - AHA approved.
• Covid vaccination card or exemption proof.
• Driving license.
• Updated resume
• Proficient in administering medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Knowledgeable in nursing procedures and standard healthcare practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with composure and provide compassionate care.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working.
