Echo Tech needed to work where others vacation in both Salida and Buena Vista, CO Location: Salida and Buena Vista, CO Schedule: Wednesday - Friday and additional shift coverage as needed to cover vacations Are you a skilled Echo Tech looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Echocardiogram Sonographer to join our healthcare team for 8 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with access to top medical professionals and cutting-edge diagnostic technology. Job Summary: As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in echocardiography, you will perform ultrasound examinations using your advanced education and clinical experience. You’ll uphold the highest professional standards by following defined technical protocols and diagnostic criteria while exercising sound judgment and discretion based on each patient’s individual condition. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Graduate of and accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program. Minimum of 2 years of experience About us : Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is located in the beautiful Upper Arkansas Valley in central Colorado. The local towns of Salida and Buena Vista are known for their pleasant weather, vast recreation opportunities and vibrant arts scene. Both towns are located along the Arkansas River at elevations above 7,000 feet near the Continental Divide. The Upper Arkansas Valley is an outdoor recreational dream. Since six of every seven acres is designated public lands, the Valley is the perfect location for hiking, biking, horseback riding, trail running, rock climbing, boating, fishing and hunting. In the winter there are designated snowmobile routes and backcountry skiing. Monarch Ski & Snowboard Area is just 18 miles west of Salida. The Arkansas River is known for its world-class trout fishery, kayaking, and whitewater rafting.
Shift: Weds- Friday and additional days to cover vacation.
