Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: San Pablo, CA 94806
Shift: Days
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay: $50 to $55 hourly on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in San Pablo, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes. You will work with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and relieving pain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and functional capabilities to create individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.
- Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment to improve patient mobility and alleviate pain.
- Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercises and self-care strategies.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in California.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist (experience in a similar setting preferred).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications: CPR certification is preferred.
