Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry

Location: Fort Dodge, IA

Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: $63/hr | Weekly Pay: $2,268

Shift Type: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 36 hours/week

Job Description:

United Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other patient care activities as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care in the EMR system (EPIC) accurately and timely.
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a Compact State License.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in PCU, Cardiac/Tele, or Stepdown units.
• Experience with telemetry strips, including cardiac monitoring.
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
• BSN strongly encouraged.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly recommended.

Additional Information:

• OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x
• Candidates with a taxable home address within 60 miles of the facility will be billed at a rate 10% less.
• EMR System: EPIC
