Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry
Location: Fort Dodge, IA
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $63/hr | Weekly Pay: $2,268
Shift Type: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 36 hours/week
Job Description:
United Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other patient care activities as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care in the EMR system (EPIC) accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergencies and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a Compact State License.
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in PCU, Cardiac/Tele, or Stepdown units.
- Experience with telemetry strips, including cardiac monitoring.
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
- BSN strongly encouraged.
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly recommended.
Additional Information:
- OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x
- Candidates with a taxable home address within 60 miles of the facility will be billed at a rate 10% less.
