Job Description
Urgent Need!
Number of Needs: Five (5)
Onsite Location: 3000 East Sawyer Road, Republic Missouri, 65738
M-F, 6-230 with OT and occasional Saturdays; 50+ hours a week
**This is a temp position for at least 2-3 months - will not convert to permanent**

Position Summary
Assembles components and prepares sub-assemblies for inclusion into custom procedure trays in various configurations for CPS production area. Follows instruction from supervisors, team leaders or others designated to assist leadership in work areas. Uses approved Bills of Material to assemble trays in compliance with established designs. Follows all approved assembly guidelines as established by training manual. Ensures raw materials used during production are in compliance of established material standards. Ensures proper handling of materials to minimize amount of scrap loss. This position involves direct interaction with colleagues, managers and department directors.
Major Responsibilities:
Develops positive, respectful colleague relationships to ensure products are produced to standards and expectations for quality, design, efficiency, customer satisfaction and to sustain a safe, welcoming and productive work environment.
Works with colleagues and department leadership so that clinical acceptance and manufacturing quality standards are achieved.
Utilize communication skills to maximize CPS manufacturing quality and production efficiency.
Works with supervisors, team leaders, material planners and colleagues to help with CPS component selection and standardization in relation to form, fit and quality of products.
Works with Leadership to develop daily work schedule for CPS production requirements.
Works with QA colleagues to identify defects and opportunities for improvement.
Technology
Utilize system related technologies to initiate production schedule, Bills of Material, assembly design, instructions and build requirements.
Utilize system related technologies to prepare tray labeling, identify component specification hazard codes and qualifications.
Insures proper handling of hard copy file Device History Records (DHR) and associated changes related to CPS manufacturing.
Operational efficiency
Communicates proactively with Leadership with regards to production schedule, line setup, changes in CPT components due to customer request, changes in production requirements, component availability, utilization or defects.
Establishes commitment to produce optimum production efficiency with regards to customer expectations and production requirements.
Provide timely and efficient communication to supervisor and production colleagues regarding status of scheduled CPS manufacturing, component defects, wrong item or pick quantities.
General functions
Ensures correct component identification as described on bill of materials prior to line setup.
Counts, folds, places and packages components according to assembly instructions.
Prepares and cleans assembly area prior to production setup.
Actively involved in pre-assembly processes such as sortation, work order preparation, and assembly line setup.
Ensures acceptable quality of materials placed into production trays.
Ensure correct quantities of components placed during assembly process.
Wraps, labels, seals and packages finished trays according to assembly instructions.
Performs line clearance procedures to established guidelines.
Provides proper identity to items requiring re-stock and/or scrap.
Performs general housekeeping duties
Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to do simple math add, subtract, and multiply using whole numbers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral formats.
Ability to understand diagrams is desired.
Must be able to duplicate a process or assembly operation.
Requires prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, pushing and pulling. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to read, interpret, and follow work instructions as defined by standard operating procedures. Requires lifting items including but not limited to totes, packs, raw materials and boxes up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment within a designated production area. Work may be stressful at times. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.

High School Graduate/Equivalent
