Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
• Critical Skills: Utilize your IV skills and acute care experience to assess and manage patient needs effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and optimal patient outcomes.
• Basic EKG Interpretation: Complete a basic EKG interpretation test during orientation, with additional training for critical care specialties.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current LVN license in California (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in an ER setting (because experience matters!).
• Must have Cerner (Firstnet) proficiency, IV skills, and travel experience.
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS for adult ER; Peds ER-BLS, ALS, PALS, and ENPC or CPEN preferred.
• Flexibility: Travelers must be adaptable to varied scheduling—no block scheduling here!
