Job Opportunity: CNA Acute in Phoenix, AZ

• Position: CNA Acute/Med-Surg/LTC
• Location:  Phoenix, AZ 85013
• Pay Rate: $30-$31 per hour
• Shift:  DAYS/NIGHT- Rotate12 hours 6-630- 36 hrs/week
• Shift Notes: 12 hour nights, 2 out of 3 holidays, weekends as needed
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Locals Pay rate: $29/hr (Less than 50 miles)

Unit Notes: 

• **Medical Solutions Prescreen Interview, If recommended, AUTO OFFER (time off must be approved by facility); the hiring manager has 24-hours to accept/decline this candidate. may call for 2nd interview.”
• **cannot have another job with on assignment for night shift positions,
• must be available for 2-3 days of day shift for orientation

Responsibilities:

• Blood Sugars, Insertion of Straight Catheter, EKGs, Insertion or Removal of IV's
• Redirecting and communicating with patients that may be confused, communication with the patient is through the computer.
• Knowledge and understaning of when a situation warrants a stat calling.
• Provide excellent patient care, including assistance with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Respond to patient calls, assess needs, and provide appropriate assistance.
• Good customer service skills, comfortable on the computer.
• Able to manage stress and communicate well in stressful times
• Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and urinary/fecal output.
• Gather information from medical professionals about patient conditions and treatment plans.
• Remind patients to take medications and supplements. Stay updated on CNA training and adhere to facility policies and procedures

• Virtual Companion Program for Dignity Health; facility is referred to as a Virtual Hospital Setting
• THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION - MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK IN PHOENIX AZ
• **strict no cell phone policy, hospital provides work phone number for traveler to share
• **hospital DOES NOT sign timesheets
• Ratios Monitoring up to 12 patients at a time
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients Fall risk, disoriented, pulling at tubes/lines, elopment risk, ETOH/.overdose (watching for contraband), wandering
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Managers. Available at all times.
• Weekend Requirement two full weekends or 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.

• Floating Requirements May potentially work the operator service (same location).
• Scrub Color/Dress Code Scrubs are not required. Business causual- no open toed shoes or fuzzy slippers
• Unit/Department specific orientation 2-3 full shifts
• Additional Notes This is an in person position, in the office with other staff, not working from home.
• Will be monitoring patients at multiple different hospitals in many states.

Ability to Relocate:

• Phoenix, AZ  Relocate before starting work (Required)

Requirements:

• Prefer CNA- with acute or LTC. Will take a CMA.
• CNA AZ license
• BSN Required: NO
• Experience in Med-Surg/Tele.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Good communication skills.
