Registered Nurse Med Surg

Job Description

• Position: RN - Med/Surg
• Location:  Thornton, CO 80229
• Pay Rate: $48-$49/hr
• Shift: Days/Nights (3x12 hours)
• Work Week: 36 hours per week
• Gross weekly: $1,960/week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start: ASAP

Charting System: Meditech

Unit Notes

• Number of Beds -: 29 beds but can overflow adults in peds for a total of 39
• Number of Staff – when at 39 we call for a charge, 8 RN, and our ACT
• Type of staff Day Shift charge, 8 RNs, and ACT from 10am-10pm
• Night Shift - charge, 8 RNs and ACT from 10am-10pm
• Patient Ratios – 5:1
• Type of equipment – remote telemetry 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Telemetry ability to read strips

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ACLS
• BLS
• CO State or Compact RN License
• Updated Resume with Recent experience.
• SSN, DL & Covid

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

•  Post-op surgical patients
• Some cardiac drips such as amio and dilt. Also, will see heparin drips

Ability to Relocate:  Redding, CA  Relocate before starting work (Required)
