Job Title: LVN/LPN

Location: Abilene, Texas

Hourly Pay Rate: $42/hr (Negotiable)

Shift:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Abilene, Texas. This is a 3-month contract position offering a competitive hourly pay rate of $42/hr, which is negotiable based on experience. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care during 12-hour shifts, with both day and night shift options available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician.
• Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and perform routine procedures.
• Assist with patient assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Follow established protocols and procedures.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Participate in patient care rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LVN or LPN.
• Active LVN/LPN license in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
