Locum - Physician - Emergency Medicine Williston ND

Job Description

CHI St. Alexius Health Williston care of HealthSource Partners LLC is in need of EM coverage. This will be ongoing coverage and can have no gaps. Current schedule is 2 providers per 24 hours working 12 hour shifts. Coverage is supplemented with employed APPs that work 10a-10p.

• June 1-3 (6am-6pm)

  June 13-16 (6am-6pm)

  June 23 (6am-6pm)

  June 28-29 (6pm-6am)

  July 3-9 (6am-6pm)

  August 1-4  (6pm-6am)

  August 10&11 (6am-6pm)

  August 28-31 (6pm-6am)         

Rates to submit

• Malpractice must be included in the rates
• Orientation – half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. “Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours”
• Hourly - client wants to stay around $345/hour for EM boarded candidates; willing to pay a little more for urgent dates, but unless at rate caps above, the candidates will not be prioritized in 2025 for coverage
• Holiday - client would prefer to pay regular hourly for holiday, but may be willing to accept 1.5x or less

Details:

• 1.5-2 patients per hour on average
• 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours
• EMR - Meditech
• Must be comfortable with all ages
• A minimum of 250 case logs in the last year
• The state of ND requires ATLS for any EM provider practicing in the state
• Must be comfortable with all procedures (Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Airway Management OB/GYN and Deliveries, Adult and Pediatric resuscitation).
• Feels more like a big hospital, but it's actually a critical access hospital. A lot of support staff that you find at a bigger hospital.
• Credentialing timeline; 4 weeks, or shorter. Will do temps.
• Mid-levels work 12 hours a day 10-10p. On Mondays, they have 2 APPs due to higher census.
• Travel: flight, hotel, rental car; mileage. Has preferred hotels. No first class tickets, no upgrades.
• Client would prefer local candidates and will prioritize those over travel candidates.

Requirement description :

• Must have PALS, ATLS, ACLS
• Board Certified - ABEM required
• Active ND license or IMLC required - license preferred
