Hospital: Mission Location: Asheville, NC Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Unit Name: CV PreOp Building: E – The Heart Tower Cost Center:705 General Information Unit Specifics: • Number of Beds : 4 • Patient Ratios :1:1 • Unit staffing description- RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVOR • Type of equipment : GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u/s • Documentation system: Cerner • Scheduling requirements: M-F 0500-1330 • On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/week • Floating policy: Within scope of practice and experience • Patient Experience requirements: Critical Care experience a must, PreOp experience a plus Hospital Specifics- • Certifications: BLS and ACLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team Must have: good critical thinking skills Advanced skills needed: ACLS Procedures performed on unit: large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement.
