Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech)

Location: Lakewood, WA

Experience Required: 2+ years

Shift: Day Shift (8 hours per day, 5 days a week)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $48 - $53 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) to join our surgical team in Lakewood, WA on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the operating room, assisting in surgical procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment. Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use

Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and supplies

Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques to prevent infections

Handle and care for surgical instruments before, during, and after procedures

Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly

Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazard materials

Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate patient records

Collaborate with the surgical team to provide the highest level of patient care

Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or operating room setting

Skills: Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and instrumentation

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs
