Job Description
Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse
Location: Fort Defiance, AZ
Shift: 12 hour shifts. Must be flexible, includes weekends and holidays. Both day and night shift coverage
Responsibilities:
- Registered Nurse needed for L&D, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, babies room in with moms -- average 40 deliveries per month, average 6 C-sections per month.
- May have to cover as charge nurse, after charge nurse training, on occasion.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and assisting with childbirth.
- ACLS, NRP AND AWHONN Advanced FHM, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
