 Hospital:  LewisGale Medical CenterLocation:  Salem VirginiaAddress: 1900 Electric Rd, Salem VA. 24153Unit:  Inpatient RehabBuilding: Main 4E General InformationUnit Specifics:Number of Beds : 35Patient Ratios :5-7:1Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Techs per census, usually 2-4Type of equipment :  Vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCD’s, Bladder scannerDocumentation system: MeditechScheduling requirements: 12 hr shifts, every other weekendFloating policy: may be floated to other Med Surg depts.Patient Experience requirements: Rehab experience preferred Hiring ProfileMust have:Med/Surg or PCU experienceBLS and VA LicensePreferred:Rehab experienceAdvanced skills needed:  none Procedures performed on unit:  Med administration to include IV’s, PICC, PEG tube admin;  Bladder scans, Trach care, Tube feeding, Foley cath, Bladder irrigation,  Blood Administration Dress Code: Navy blue or white solid scrubs Awards/Recognition:  Tour of Easy Street-
