Job Title: Permanent Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Chambersburg, PA, 17201
Facility: 210-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Shift: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday), with weekend rotation
Salary Range: $38 - $43 per hour (W2)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a 210-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Chambersburg, PA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to our residents, focusing on improving communication and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans.
- Educate residents and their families on therapy techniques and strategies to manage speech and language disorders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in weekend rotations as scheduled.
- Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
