Travel RN - Acute Care (PCU)

Location: Franklin, NC 28734

Start Date: 06/09/2025

Duration: 13 weeks

 Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $51/hour

 Unit Overview – Acute Care / PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

•  Floor: 2

•  Number of Beds: 30

•  Charting System: Cerner

•  Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 4–5 RNs, 2–3 PCTs

  • Night Shift: 4–5 RNs, 2–3 PCTs

• Ratios:

  • Med-Surg: 6:1, occasionally 7:1

  • Step-down/ICU-like: 4:1

 Required Skills & Certifications

•  Must Have:

  • ICU or Step Down/PCU experience

  • At least 1 prior travel assignment

  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

•  Preferred:

  • True ICU experience

•  Common Procedures:

  • Thoracentesis

  • Vents

  • Arterial & Central Lines

  • Dressing changes

 Ideal Candidate

• Team-oriented

• Outgoing

• Able to float to ED if needed

 Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

 Additional Info

• Shift Times: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

• Weekends: Every other weekend required
