Exciting Career Opportunity: RN Behavioral Health - Mental Health (Full-Time, Permanent)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Shift Options:

• 12-Hour Shifts:
• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 8-Hour Shifts:
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Full-Time Evenings:
• 32 hours per week, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Full-Time Nights:
• 32 hours per week, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Compensation:

• Hourly Range: $28.90 - $41.00 (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 - $12,000

Shift Differentials:

• 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Saturday & Sunday: $1.25/hour extra
• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM:
• Monday – Thursday: $2.00/hour extra
• Friday – Sunday: $3.00/hour extra
• 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM:
• Monday – Thursday: $4.00/hour extra
• Friday – Sunday: $5.00/hour extra

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to patients in a Behavioral Health/Mental Health setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of Michigan.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience:
• New grads will be considered, but psych or ED experience is preferred.
• Skills:
• Professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory may be required, typically acquired through completion of education from an accredited school of nursing.
