Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health, Rehab (13-Week Contract)

Location: Lawton, OK

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hourly Pay: $30 to $35

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Lawton, OK, for a 13-week contract position in home health and rehabilitation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a flexible and supportive environment where you can make a significant impact on the lives of patients within their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement and follow individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and daily functioning.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatments, and report any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies, including maintaining accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply; recent traveler experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
