Unit Profiles: The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile. Data Collection: Unit Information: Location: Building: St David’s Medical Center Floor: Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 712 Discipline: Pharmacy Quantity: Target Start Date: Shift: Call Requirements Weekends: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 450 • Number of Staff – approx. 60 • Type of staff: o Day Shift – 10 pharmacists, 8-9 technicians o Evening Shift – 3 pharmacists, 4 technicians o Night Shift – 1 pharmacist, 2 techs • Patient Ratios – varies depending on shift • Type of equipment - • EMR – Meditech • Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – Y Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • Hospital pharmacy experience • Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • Sterile compounding certification • List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • • Best personality Fit: • • Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. • Scrub Color - Pharmacist – sage green top, black pants; technicians – khaki top, black pants • Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. • Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc. • • Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. *Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent.
