• Type of equipment : GE MONITORS,
• Documentation system: MEDITECH
• Scheduling requirements: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND, 36 HOURS/WEEK (12 HOUR SHIFTS)
• Floating policy: NO FLOATING
• Patient Experience requirements: USE AIDET, COMMUNICATION BOARDS, ROUNDING

Requested Skill Set:
Must have: Ability to assess, treat and manage adult and pediatric emergency patients in collaborative manner. Provide excellent patient experience. Give clearly defined discharge instructions. Be willing to provide patient-centered care and move patients through their ED visit with quality and efficiency. EMERGENCY NURSE COMPETENCIES

Procedures performed on unit: LAC REPAIRS, CLOSED REDUCTIONS, INTUBATIONS, LUMBAR PUNCTURES, I&Ds, SPLINTING,
Certifications Required:
ACLS, PALS, BLS
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
• SCRUBS, ANY COLOR, SOLID PANTS, MAY WEAR PRINT TOPS AND JACKETS. NO CAMO, DENIM, HOODIES OR FLEECE

• Tenured staff and charge nurses on days and nights, average discharge LOS is 150 minutes, admitted LOS is 240 minutes Very few admitted holds for more than 3-4 hours after admission order placed. Engaged provider group that will see patients quickly, few patient complaints. Great staff and teamwork!
