Job Bundling Opportunity:
We are offering a unique job bundling opportunity that allows you to combine the roles of Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), and Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) in a permanent position in Kerrville, TX. This unique opportunity enables you to apply your clinical expertise while also stepping into a leadership role to manage and guide the rehab department.
By bundling these roles, you can grow in both clinical and leadership capacities, shaping the future of rehabilitation services while directly impacting patient recovery.
Bundled Roles Include:
Physical Therapist (PT) – Deliver hands-on care to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities.
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) – Lead the rehab department, manage the team of therapists, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Compensation for Bundled Roles:
PT/OT Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
DOR Additional Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Conduct Thorough Assessments – Evaluate patients’ physical and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans (for PT and OT roles).
Develop & Implement Treatment Plans – Design therapy programs to improve strength, mobility, and overall quality of life (for PT and OT roles).
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams – Partner with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to provide holistic care.
Empower Patients and Families – Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies that support long-term recovery and independence.
Document Progress – Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with facility guidelines (for PT and OT roles).
Lead the Rehab Department – Oversee and manage the rehab team, ensure compliance with regulations, and optimize patient care (for DOR role).
Engage in Lifelong Learning – Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with therapy practices.
Education – Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure – Valid Texas Physical Therapy License (for PT) or Occupational Therapy License (for OT) (Required).
Experience – Skilled nursing facility experience preferred but not required.
Skills – Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
DOR Qualifications – Leadership experience in a healthcare setting is preferred for the Director of Rehabilitation position.
