Job Description
Must have previous Travel Experience Willing to and skilled enought to handle up to 8 patients at any one time - Includes a mix of total patient care. Nurses must be willing to take up to 8 patients when needed. No long term care nurses. Most recent 3 assignments - must be acute care MS in medium to large organizations. Floating to other MS unit is requrired Nurses can choose to have a 36-hour or 48-hour work week. All candidates will need to complete a virtual interview for this role, and offers will be made based on that interview. Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Stroke; Cancer; Palliative/End-of-Life; Mental Status Changes; Seizures; Post-Op Craniotomy/Lami/Shunt (Neurosurgery); Complications of Chemotherapy; management of symptoms; Chemotherapy Administration Special procedure done on the unit: Bone Marrow Biopsy; EEG/Continuous Monitoring Common Medications used on the unit: General Medications/Chemotherapy Common Equipment: IV pumps; PCA pumps; general equipment
