Job Description
Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Location: Redding, CA, 96001
Pay Scale: $2296
Shift: Night
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct assessments of patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
-
Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
-
Operate and manage ventilators and other life-support equipment.
-
Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary.
-
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
-
Stay updated with the latest advancements in respiratory therapy practices.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local certification requirements.

Evaluate patient conditions concerning respiratory and overall health.

Requirements:
-
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution.
-
Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Valid state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
-
COVID-19 vaccination, health documents, and physical examination clearance.
