Looking for an OCN to work in our Infusion Suite, proficient in administering a number of injections and infusion, including chemotherapy and biotherapy, as well as blood transfusions.

The infusion suite in Valley Regional’s Kane Center offers a comfortable, private setting for your chemotherapy or other infusion treatments. Three treatment bays featuring recliners with sliding glass doors and seating for your family or friends. There is also a separate treatment room for patients needing additional privacy or increased infection protection.

Available treatments include:

• Blood Transfusions
• Chemotherapy
• Iron Transfusions
• Remicade Infusions
• Antibiotic Therapies
• Chronic Kidney Disease Monitoring
• Hydration
• Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatments
• Osteoporosis Treatments

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.  RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!   5 DAYS OR LESS OF RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR A 13 WEEK ASSIGNMENT. 

No non-billable orientation

OT, Holiday multipliers:  1.25%

Requirement description :

• Minimum 2 years current Infusion experience - Required
• MUST HAVE ONCOLOGY CERTIFICATION - REQUIRED
• Ability to access mediports - Required
• Central Line experience - Required
• Peripheral IV Insertion experience - Required
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Infusion Card - Preferred
• ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY/HIT THE GROUND RUNNING - REQUIRED
• Travel experience – Preferred
• Bachelor Degree - Preferred
