Facility – Alaska Regional Hospital
Start Date-asap 3 weeks from offer date.

ER RN *must have AK RN license at the time of submission***

General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds – 20 headwall, 4 halls
• Number of Staff – 50
• Shift for the Traveler – Varies (7a, 9a, 11a, 12n, 13p, 15p, 7p)
• Type of staff: Charge RN, Flow Coordinator, RN, ED Tech, US
o Day Shift – (1 charge, 4 RN, 1 tech, and 1 us)
o Mid Shift- Varies- (9a RN, 11a RN, 11a Tech, 11a Flow Coordinator, 12n RN, 13p RN, 15p RN)
o Night Shift – (1 charge, 4 RN, 1 tech, and 1 us)
• Patient Ratios – 4:1 (unless low acuity ESI 4 & 5’s then 6:1)
• Type of equipment – Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I stat, EPOC, GE monitors
• EMR - EPIC

Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Prior ED Experience
• Stroke and STEMI experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Trauma
• Pediatrics
List typical procedures performed on unit: (aside from typical ED RN duties)
• Splinting
• Breathing Treatments

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC
