COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children’s prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season. This assignment will primarily report to the main campus. However, there may be the need to float between our three campuses: Main, 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016 Avondale, 1665 North Avondale Boulevard, Avondale, AZ 85392 Arrowhead, 19007 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308 Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm; (Sat/Sun) weekend shift that occurs every 18-19 weeks This assignment requires some call at the Main hospital campus of approximately 3 shifts per month. Job Summary: This position performs diagnostic cardiac sonography examinations with a sub-specialty in fetal cardiac sonography examinations, as well as cardiology procedures to provide data for diagnosis of disease and injuries in accordance with all applicable standards, regulation and licensing requirements. Maintains a close working relationship with fetal cardiologists and nurse coordinators. Education Requirements: Graduation from a CAAHEP or ACCSC accredited cardiac sonography program or equivalent or 10 years experience in cardiac ultrasound. Experience Requirements: Candidate must be able to perform complex pediatric congenital echoes as well as fetal echoes. Six (6) years full time pediatric cardiac sonography. Must have a proven track record of leadership and commit to leadership activities upon completion of orientation. Endorsement from fetal echo physicians along with input from the medical directors (echo lab and fetal echo). Philips Echo machines and Siemens Syngo Dynamics as our PACS system. Certification/License/Registry Requirements: ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric (RDCS PE) or CCI Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS). ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Fetal (RDCS FE). Current BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm; (Sat/Sun) weekend shift that occurs every 18-19 weeks
